Father McNally Park Hosts National Hurling League Game

The Division 2A National Hurling League game between Derry and Down was played at Father McNally Park on 22nd February 2004.  Derry was captained by Gregory Biggs.  It was an historic and memorable day for the club to host it’s first national fixture.

The Future

With such excellent grounds and facilities, that are unrivalled anywhere in the county, including two superb playing fields, and with such talented underage players progressing through the ranks it is hoped that St Marys G.A.C. Banagher can win senior titles in both football and hurling in the foreseeable future.  The club will undoubtedly continue to produce committed players and officials who will keep the club flourishing well in the years to come.
