To whom it concerns.

My name is Darren Rowland from Culloville, Co. Armagh. Over the past month I've been organising with The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust a charity 4000 mile cycle across America from San Francisco on April 4th to arrive in New York on June 18th of this year.

I will be raising funds for KBRT (The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust), which do fantastic work and help so many families throughout Ireland to repatriate bodies should a family ever lose a loved one abroad. Kevin Bell (a school colleague of my own) was killed in an accident in New York in 2013 and as a result his family set up this charity to help ease the financial burden on other families faced with repatriating a loved ones body from abroad. To raise funds for this worthy charity I decided I'd cycle from San Francisco to New York where Kevin was killed. I was later made aware of Kevins' cousin Paul Lambert who was killed too just 8 months after Kevin in similar circumstances in San Francisco. Where Paul was killed will be my starting point and where Kevin was killed will see the finish of my cycle. If you want to check out more details I've got a website set up 2wheels2newyork.com and social media pages on facebook, twitter and Instagram to track the journey.

To raise funds for this charity i have set up an idonate page for people to access online, i have attached the link below and i would be grateful of any contribution your County might see fit to contribute to this cause. I would also be grateful if you could forward this email to the Clubs within your County to spread the word of my undertaking.

I also attach a link to 'KBRT' webpage and hope this will make people aware of the charity that is in place to assist should they ever need it.

Many thanks for your time in reading this email and any contribution or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I would also ask if you have contacts in America that you might also forward this mail to them should they wish to participate or be any part of my vast journey across the states. My planned route can be found on the 2wheels2newyork page above.

Kind Regards,
